i like this person in which he states he likes me personally. We texted over the past week, however now once I text him, it takes him several hours to react.
I do not wish to look obsessive, but I would like to speak to him.
Should I just not text him and wait a little for him to text myself?

I have two bits of advice for you personally.
1. End texting. Wait for his telephone call or ask him to call the next time he texts.
2. Stop going after him. Men hate to hunt in a zoo.
Maybe you have missing that one along with your zealousness. On the next occasion might consist of your self and try to let him perform the chasing.
Remember, sperm chases egg. Maybe not the opposite.
